VISIT TO THE WATER PURIFICATION PLANT IN 2015-16:

Student of M.Sc. Class were taken to visit water purification plant situated at Ravanbhatha Raipur, on 25 November 2015. The main role of water purification plant is to purify water by removing all the impurities contained in it to make the water safe for daily use. Students were made familiar of the different steps of purifying water that is coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, disinfection. It was enlightening visit for the students.

LECTURE SERIES FOR P.G. STUDENTS WAS ORGANIZED IN 2016-2017:

15 lectures were arranged for the student on topics related to their syllabus. The lecture series commenced on 6th of April which lasted till 11th April 2016. Students benefitted exceedingly by this practice.

Investigation of water quality of water bodies near college in Raipur city was carried in the year 2016 and 2018 by M. Sc. students. This is to make our students aware of the water quality of their surrounding water bodies. This also makes them learn about the safe drinking water.
